Notes:
1 Dates for expeditions may be adjusted pending final vessel delivery date from shipyard or nonIODP activities.
2 The start date reflects the initial port call day. The vessel will sail when ready.
3 An intermediate Darwin port of call is targeted for approximately 19-20 October. Sea Trials will be completed at DSDP 588.
4 Wilkes Land activities include completion of the Adelai APL.
5 Scientists will embark the vessel at Tahiti on ~18 March.
6 Expedition will consist of operations in both the Equatorial Pacific (30 days) and Juan de Fuca (5 days). Scientists are tentatively targeted to disembark the vessel in San Diego on ~27 June.
7 The USIO contacts list includes both the expedition project manager (*), the primary contact for the expedition, and the logging Staff Scientist (^).

Who is Eligible to Sail?

Participation in IODP expeditions is open to all scientists from IODP member countries. Applications must be submitted via each country's or consortium's program office.
