College Station Airport
Easterwood Airport is serviced by American Airlines and Continental Airlines. Ticket holders are advised to show up at least one hour before their departure time. Parking is available in front of the McKenzie Terminal and the first hour of parking is free. Passenger loading and unloading, taxi services, and hotel shuttles are allowed in the upper and lower level driveways in front of the terminal but may be moved to the parking area if the upper and lower level driveways are closed due to security measures. Directions to College Station
From Houston
Directions from downtown Houston: Take Highway 290 west to Hempstead. Exit north on Highway 6 (Bryan/College Station exit). (~2 hours)
Directions from Bush Intercontinental Airport: Take Interstate 45 north (toward Dallas) to Conroe. Exit west on Highway 105 (Navasota exit). Take Highway 6 north. (~2 hours)
From Austin
Directions from downtown Austin: Take Highway 21 east toward Bryan. At the outskirts of Bryan exit south on Highway 47. Highway 47 merges with Highway 60 (Raymond Stotzer), which becomes University Drive. (~2 hours)
From Dallas
Directions from downtown Dallas: Take Interstate 45 south toward Houston. At Madisonville exit west on Highway 21. Take Highway 6 south. (~3 hours)
Directions to IODP building
The IODP building is located in the Texas A&M University Research Park on the west side of campus. The building is located on 1000 Discovery Drive, one block south of University Drive (also known as Raymond Stotzer or Highway 60 west of town).
